FINALIZE A PROPOSAL AND BLOGSPOT

WEEK 13

Week 13 has come with a relief and joy because I have already completed my proposal and also my blog (http://attendanceintelligentclassroomfyp2013.blogspot.com/). In this week I would like to thanks Sir Muhyi Yaakob for giving me some advise, guidance, corrected and helping me to finish my presentations slide, proposal and blog. Besides that, I have prepared my self to proceed my Final Year Project 1 (FYP1) to the next semester which is FYP 2. I hope there will be help out for my next semester progress.. amin

SEARCHING A EQUIPMENT

WEEK 12

I have searched for the RFID reader type which eventually I will use in RS 232 in my project. The RFID reader cost me RM70 withot RFID tag. I also have tested it before I buy it. The progress on this project went smoothly as I already know the objectives of this project. Therefore, I am aware of its goal and I can make progress based on the objectives.

CONTINUE WITH MAKING A PROPOSAL

WEEK 11

By week 14, all students FYP 1 must submit their complete proposal. So that, this week I continue my propsal, I have completed my propsal by guideline from FYP website. The guideline is about the marking scheme and assignment criteria.

THE PRESENTATION DAY

WEEK 10

This day has come, so that I have prepared myself with a lot of preparation like stydying and understanding about my project and study more about the main component mi my project that is proximity sensor and RFID. The presentation day is on Friday 22 November 2013 at time 2pm untill 5pm at Gemilang Hall, Unikl BMI. That day is came very well. But Sir Kamal advise me to make more research about this project.

PREPARATION FOR SLIDES PRESENTATION

WEEK 9

On week 10, there will be an interview for Final Year Project 1(FYP1) with two accessor which is Madam Julie and Sir Kamal. Therefore, I am doing a draft for slide presentation for Sir Muhyi to check either that slide is according to the requirement or not. Besides that I ask the advise from Sir Muhyi about what the main important for the accessor will be check and ask for the presentations.

WEEK 7

For this week i finished my block diagram and flowchart. It is to make me can illustrate how my project will be progress.

RESEARCH MORE ABOUT RFID

WEEK 6

The principle of RFID reader operation show as Figure 1 and RFID reader connection schematic  circuit as show as Figure 2. I download and print to understanding the operation the circuit and try discuss with supervisor what software used in RFID system.

RESEARCH ABOUT THE PROJECT

WEEK 5

I research more about this project and try to upgrade than usual. For this project i change the reader tag with the silicon wristband. it is because the silicon wristband is more usable and have more benefit than the other reader tag.

WEEK 3 and WEEK 4

Finally i decided to make the project about Attendance Monitoring Intelligent Classroom. From this project i should research more about the RFID and to make a wide range of its antenna. I also try to research more about sensor that will be used in my project.

FYP TITLE REGISTRATION AND FIND THE SUPERVISOR

WEEK 2 

Its been a busy week 2 me.. try to hunting the project advisor that want take me as her/his principle. Finally i found Sir Muhyi and he agree to take as his principle. I choose Sir Muhyi because he easy to get along, he also know more about the software and can give me some idea to make a project. Furthermore he also my semester advisor. After discuss with him he advise me to research more project related to RFID.

FYP Briefing

WEEK 1

Started the new semester on 12 September 2013 (Thursday),that is a FYP briefing to FYP 1 degree Sem 1 only and the place is TTL2, time is 2.30pm until 4.00 pm. the briefing is talk about FYP imlplementation, Progress Report (LOg Book/Blog) and attendance student. The FYP briefing 1 is handle by Sir Shamsul Zahari B Shahidin. And then, Sir Shamsul present the slide show to explain how to research which is a good project and format of proposal.
